Alec loved fun and adventure, and lived loud....
Alec came into this world a scrawny 3lb.12 ounce baby who spent the first 10 days of his life in the N.I.C.U. He was a little small and behind developmentally for the first 6 months of his life, but he quickly caught up and then started to do everything ahead of other kids. He was only 10 months old when I walked into the dining room to find him standing in the middle of our table trying to gnaw through the wrapper on a pack of peanut butter crackers. From that point forward it was like having a mischievous little monkey running around 24/7, hanging off and climbing up anything and everything. Alec was always a very sweet kid but he required a lot of energy and patience as he was always looking for the next adventure or prank. He took to anything and everything athletic very naturally and loved X-games type sports. He loved animals and they loved him. He was always down for almost anything outdoors. The pictures below capture a glimpse of who Alec was and what he enjoyed: friends, family and outdoor adventure...and Dixie (the pitt bull pushover).
